Creative Strategist · Meta Ads for Wealth Brands

Wealthy clients scroll too. I make them stop.

I'm Evelina: ex-financial advisor, ex-Dow Jones, now building Meta ad creative for financial advisors, fintechs, and wealth platforms. I know what your prospects worry about at 2am, because they used to say it to me across a desk.

I take on a small number of finance and fintech brands at a time. Every account gets the full obsession or nothing.

The resume behind the creative

Dow Jones Northwestern Mutual Intuit QuickBooks Trust & Will Investor's Business Daily Retirement Suite Oleada Financial

About me

I've sat on both sides of the money conversation.

Most creative strategists guess what wealthy prospects think. I don't have to. I sold financial plans face to face, wrote for newsroom deadlines, and now run AI-powered marketing inside fintech. That combination doesn't really exist twice.

  • Marketing Director, Retirement SuiteCurrent · Owning growth for a retirement-planning platform
  • Marketing Director, Oleada FinancialCurrent · Growth for a fee-only fiduciary practice
  • AI Consultant, Intuit QuickBooksCurrent · Training business owners on AI adoption
  • In-House AI Video Expert, Dow JonesNewsroom-grade storytelling, deadline-tested
  • Investor's Business DailySame newsroom muscle, finance met editorial speed
  • Growth Marketing, Trust & WillEstate planning fintech, performance marketing
  • Financial Advisor, Northwestern MutualLicensed. Real clients, real objections, real closes

I've heard the objections firsthand

"I'll think about it." "My brother-in-law handles my money." "Is now really the time?" I closed against those lines for a living. Now I write hooks that answer them before they're spoken.

Newsroom-trained, not agency-trained

Dow Jones and IBD taught me to make complex financial ideas clear, fast, and credible under deadline. That's exactly what a 1.7-second feed demands.

I don't just use AI. I teach it

As a QuickBooks AI consultant, I train business owners on AI adoption. That depth shows up in production: avatar video, iteration speed, and cost your competitors can't match.

Evelina, founder of Los Angelena

The story

Evelina, from Los Angeles.

Say it out loud and you'll hear it: Los Angelena is my name folded into my hometown. I grew up in LA, I work from San Diego now, and I've never lived more than a few miles from the Pacific.

That coastline shaped how I work. The best California brands, the ones you find in Santa Monica and La Jolla, are proof that relaxed and rigorous can coexist. Sun-washed on the surface, obsessively crafted underneath. That's the standard I hold my creative to.

The finance side came first, though. Before the ad accounts and the AI studios, I was the person across the desk asking families about their retirement fears. I never forgot how those conversations actually sound. Every ad I make still starts there: a real person, a real worry, and the words that finally make them feel understood.

The table

Trained by people with receipts.

I didn't build this craft alone. I trained as a creative strategist under operators who've spent millions of their own money on ads and made it back multiples over. Their playbooks show up in every ad I ship.

SF
Sean Ferres

Copy Millions Blueprint. $1.4M of his own money into ads, $6M back out.

RP
Ray Pang

The People Playbook. Built an agency doing $700k/mo from a standing start.

MV
Matthew Volkwyn

Founder of the Copy Dojo.

KP
Kenneth Parkja

World-class copywriter.

The same training produced strategists who went from $1,500/mo to $10k/mo in 10 days, from laid off to $10k/mo in 30 days, and from homeless to a six-figure strategist in six months. Work with me and that system works for your brand, filtered through someone who actually held a securities license.

The work

Six concepts for wealth brands. Flip the cards.

Every concept starts from something your prospect already believes but hasn't said out loud. Each card is a different angle, a different format, a different layer of the market.

The Yacht Sale

He listed the yacht the same week the market dipped. The marina assumed the worst. His advisor knew it was a tax play.

The Yacht Sale

Format: AI avatar short / UGC confessional

The bit: A curiosity gap. The viewer assumes crisis; the reveal is strategy. Positions the advisor as the one who sees moves nobody else understands.

The Champagne Letter

A letter arrives with a bottle of champagne. Celebration or bad news? She won't know until Thursday's webinar.

Flip for the strategy →

The Champagne Letter

Format: Short-form webinar teaser

The bit: An open loop the ad refuses to close. The registration is the only way to find out. Built to drive webinar signups without a single "register now" cliché.

The Golf Score Reveal

His handicap dropped 12 strokes after retiring. His portfolio strategy didn't change with him.

The Golf Score Reveal

Format: Talking head + b-roll, PDF lead magnet

The bit: Humor contrast: everything else in retirement improved, why not the plan? Ends on a downloadable guide in exchange for an email.

The Empty Gas Gauge

The gauge reads full until you tap the glass. Most retirement plans work exactly the same way.

Format: Visual metaphor spot, multi-variant

The bit: One striking image carries the whole message: no jargon, instantly compliant. Built for A/B testing across five different taps of the glass.

The Two Wine Glasses

Two glasses poured every evening for forty years. One conversation they kept postponing: what happens after.

The Two Wine Glasses

Format: Emotional brand spot

The bit: Estate planning sold through ritual, not fear. The warmth does what scare tactics can't. It makes the viewer picture their own kitchen table.

The Cracked Crystal Ball

There's a cracked crystal ball on his desk. It means he stopped pretending to predict the market and started planning around it.

The Cracked Crystal Ball

Format: Static meme + video hybrid

The bit: Radical honesty as the hook. "I don't predict. I plan." Differentiates instantly from every ad promising returns, and it keeps compliance smiling.

Two live playlists from my channel. Real AI ad campaigns and avatar work for finance brands, exactly as they run in the feed.

Static work

Same brain, zero production budget.

Static ads are half my product suite, and this is the proof. A concept campaign built around one insight: nobody taught us how to talk about money. One idea, fifteen executions, every major static format Meta rewards. Plus brand work for retirement and fiduciary platforms.

Static ad: couple laughing over coffee
The reframe. Emotional benefit over feature. Romance vs. resentment.
Static ad: iceberg diagram
The diagram. An iceberg does the explaining. Zero copy wasted.
Static ad: anonymous confession card
The confession. Native social format. Reads like content, not an ad.
Static ad: couple holding moving box
The countdown. 1 lease, 2 salaries, 0 conversations. Math as tension.
Static ad: tabloid magazine cover parody
The tabloid. Pattern interrupt. Gossip energy for a taboo topic.
Static ad: message written on foggy mirror
The mirror. Rehearsed 47 times, said 0. The feeling everyone knows.
Static ad: friends at rooftop brunch
The crowd. Social proof inverted: everyone is avoiding the same talk.
Static ad: hand-drawn flowchart
The doodle. Hand-drawn loop of avoidance. Breaks the polished feed.
Static ad: expert quote card
The authority. A fiduciary says the quiet part. Instant credibility.
Static ad: checklist with salary unchecked
The checklist. Everything gets discussed before salary. One red box.
Static ad: restaurant bill folder
The standoff. The bill lands, nobody moves. Comedy in six words.
Static ad: iMessage group chat screenshot
The group chat. "Totally fine!" It was not fine. Native UI, real dread.
Static ad: retired couple testimonial
The testimonial. Retirement platform brand work. Trust at a glance.
Static ad: tablet with roadmap visual
The product shot. Premium fintech aesthetic. Three lines, whole pitch.
Static ad: the retirement scoreboard checklist
The scoreboard. Redefines winning retirement beyond the money. Legacy-brand gold.

The gameplan

Brief to live ads in under two weeks.

No agency bloat, no six-week "discovery phase." A tight loop where the audience, not a conference room, decides which creative gets the budget.

01

Ideate

Audience research, angle development, and creative briefs grounded in how wealthy prospects actually think about money.

02

Script

Hook, body, and CTA, all written with SEC, FINRA, and IAR guidelines in mind and compliance-reviewed before anything gets produced.

03

Produce

AI video with a brand-matched avatar or b-roll, plus static ad sets built for every feed placement. Polished, on-brand, days-not-weeks to market.

04

Test cheap

New hooks launch as low-budget tests. The duds die for pocket change; the numbers say which angles earn a real budget.

05

Feed winners

Proven hooks get the money, the iterations, and the placements. Budget goes where the audience already said yes.

06

Report

ROAS, CPL, and hook-level learnings in plain English, plus the next iteration cycle already queued up.

Luck is a volume game with a scoreboard. We play it on purpose.

Why it works

The unfair advantages, itemized.

Advisor-brain targeting

I know the difference between what a prospect says and what they mean, because I closed them in person. That instinct is in every hook.

Compliance-safe by default

Scripts and supers written with SEC, FINRA, and IAR guidelines in mind. I know what gets flagged and how to say it compliantly anyway.

Full-stack execution

Strategy, script, AI video, static ad design, editing, Ads Manager, reporting. One person, no telephone game, nothing lost in a hand-off.

140+ languages, zero reshoots

AI avatar technology lets advisors and fintechs reach clients in their native language without another production budget.

Built for Meta's Andromeda era

Meta's Andromeda update changed how creative gets retrieved and ranked. Ads now need semantic clarity and audience signal baked into the creative itself, not just the targeting. Every asset I build is structured to work with that retrieval model, not against it. Most agencies are still making 2023 ads.

Fair questions

Asked before, answered here.

Will the ads pass financial services compliance review?

Every script is written with SEC, FINRA, and IAR guidelines in mind. Hooks, supers, disclaimers, and CTA language are reviewed before production. I have a working knowledge of what typically gets flagged and how to say it compliantly anyway.

Do AI videos look professional or obviously artificial?

The bar has moved dramatically. Well-directed AI avatars now outperform many self-shot advisor videos on watch time and trust metrics. I select, configure, and direct avatars like a live shoot: lighting, pacing, delivery, and brand alignment all factored in.

Can you run the ads, or just make them?

Both. Full-service campaign management covering Ads Manager setup, targeting, budget pacing, creative testing, and reporting. Or production-ready assets handed to your in-house media buyer. Your call.

Do you work with fintechs, or just advisors?

Both. My background spans financial advisors, retirement platforms, estate-planning fintech, and wealth coaching brands. If your audience thinks about money, I can market to them.

What does the 15-minute call actually cover?

You bring your current ads (or the fact that you don't have any). You leave with a read on where your creative leaks money and what I'd test first. Worst case, you're fifteen minutes older with a free diagnosis.
